Benjamin, after losing his wife of fifty years, post her transition, finds himself a grieving patriarch. His grandson, in a effort to help him cope with his grief suggests he try going on a dating app. This unleashes a series of comedic misfires and emotional spirals that provides him a journey of self realization.
Ruby’s Heart, follows Benjamin Wells, a successful, vibrant attorney who is still grieving the loss of his beloved wife, Ruby. Milty, his tech-savvy grandson grows concerned as Benjamin's isolation deepens and in an effort to help suggests he try a dating app. Benjamin shares with him that he has "absolutely no interest in participating in any such nonsense." Milty, guided by the voice and angelic energies of his departed grandmother, is able to convince the skillful attorney to give the app a try. This sets off a series of comedic mishaps with intriguing twists and turns that bring to life the reconnection between Benjamin and Ruby.
