Beginning as a cinematic homage to local state poets, and growing to a nation wide endeavor, this series is meant to honor innovative Black & Brown poets whose work inspires cultural equity, change, and revolution. This first season visits poets in San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Fresno and New Jersey. Poets featured in the first volume include: U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera, Dr. Ayodele Nzinga, Paul Flores, Rigoberto Gonzalez and Roberto Tinoco Duran.
